Stress and Fatigue–Working through Adrenal Issues
Friday Jan 13
11am—1pm
Suggested Donation $12 or less
What exactly is Adrenal Fatigue, and do you really have it?
Adrenal Fatigue is one of the most talked about health concerns when people come into my practice. Tiredness, brain fog, poor memory, difficulty healing or frequent infections, skin rashes, body aches, anxiety, insomnia. Many of these symptoms stem from adrenal stress—but can also come from other hormone problems, toxicity, lifestyle imbalance and nutrient depletion. Its all a chemical dance.
How can you sort out what’s going on and how to work with it?
In this class we look at Adrenal Energy and the entire spectrum of adrenal imbalances. We will explore how adrenal hormones relate to thyroid and sex hormones, our other organ systems, and impact our body’s ability to heal on many levels. We will look at lab tests for diagnosing adrenal imbalances and what you can do to help yourself if you have it or think you may be going down that particularly stressful pathway.

Leaky Gut, GI Issues and Digestion – Get the Information you Need
Friday Jan 27
11am—1pm
Suggested Donation $12 or less
When we say that good health begins in the gut, what does it mean?
The human adult GI tract is approximately 720 square feet—the size of a tennis court—all folded up into endless nooks and crannies within 20 feet of intestine.
Doesn’t it make sense that whatever is going on in there is most of what is going on?
Here’s another incredible factoid—the number of bacteria cells inside the human GI tract is more than the total number of human cells—which is something like 20 trillion cells. So if those bacteria aren’t what they should be… can you see there could be a problem?
So many health problems come from GI disturbances such as mold and yeast overgrowth, parasites, low digestive enzyme levels, gut-based food sensitivities, bacterial infections and simple dehydration. They can cause symptoms you may not relate to GI problems such as headache, foggy thinking, joint pain and even osteoporosis.
Come and learn about GI health and how to enhance your body’s ability to absorb and use all those wonderful nutrients you’re pouring in.
