Joshua Margolis DOM L.Ac.

Joshua Margolis L.Ac. combines acupuncture, gentle manual therapies (bodywork), and herbal medicine in his practice. Joshua has always been fascinated by the treatment of painful conditions, such as back and neck pain, headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, and arthritis. Additional areas of focus include digestive, skin and respiratory disorders.

Joshua graduated with a Masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences in 2000. As a student Joshua was especially interested in herbal medicine. Joshua filled prescriptions for two years at Shen Nong Herbs, in Berkeley. Since graduating Joshua has been working on integrating modern anatomical acupuncture approaches with traditional energetic acupuncture approaches and modern manual therapies to treat complex pain issues.

Joshua has practiced in Santa Fe, New Mexico, San Francisco and currently at Hill Park Medical Center in Petaluma. Joshua is a professor at the Acupuncture Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, where he teaches advanced diagnosis and East/West orthopedics.
